South Sudan was represented by two athletes, Diing Chol and Simon Ladu, at the Anzha MMA Contender 8 Amateur Fight, held on 30 July 2026.
The two fighters stepped into the cage representing the South Sudan Kickboxing, MMA & Muay Thai Federation, gaining valuable competitive experience and an opportunity to test their skills in the amateur MMA circuit.
Both Diing Chol and Simon Ladu competed with determination in their respective bouts. Their fights were brought to an early end through referee stoppages.
Despite the early conclusions, the event provided both athletes with important experience as they continue to develop their skills and build their competitive careers in MMA.
The Federation congratulates Diing Chol and Simon Ladu for representing South Sudan and thanks Anzha MMA for organising the event and providing a platform for emerging fighters to compete.
The Federation looks forward to seeing both athletes continue their development and return stronger for their next challenges.
